General agricultural census to be taken in 2010

A general agricultural census will be taken in Moldova next year, as stipulated in the draft statistical works program for 2010, reports the National Bureau of Statistics.

The census will be 20% financed from the state budget and 80% funded by foreign backers. The statistical works program for 2010 also includes a number of measures like the publication of two new statistical works – Employment of Young Specialists, which is produced once in two years, and Reconciliation of Professional and Family Life, which focuses on households and is a supplement to the Labor Force Inquiry - in accordance with the employment policy strategy for 2007-2015.
