Trade Chamber to issue ATA and CPD carnets in Moldova

The Government decided that the temporary importation carnets ATA and CPD will be issued by the Chamber of Trade and Industry.

The ATA and CPD carnets are temporary importation and customs duty exemption documents for goods designed to facilitate the participation of national and foreign economic entities in exhibitions, international fairs, cultural, educational and sports events. The carnet holders have the possibility of promoting their goods by simplified methods, contributing towards strengthening the bilateral economic relations and fostering foreign trade. The carnets are also used as guarantee certificates for the goods. The Ministry of Economy and Trade and the Customs Service were instructed to formulate the procedures for issuing temporary importation carnets within a month.

The Chamber of Trade and Industry will take measures to comply with the requirements of the international guarantee ch ain administered by the International Chamber of Commerce.
